Can you imagine a church service without music? What a dead place it would be. Music plays a vital role in worship.
Worship leaders, music directors, choirs, and praise teams have tremendous spiritual responsibilities. It’s serious business. It cannot and must not be taken lightly!
Music was so important to God that He created an archangel just to supervise music in heaven. His name was Lucifer, who was given the ability to sing, play, and compose all kinds of music. Pride filled his heart, and he was cast out of heaven.
We believe that pure worship offered up from the saints of God is filling a void in the heavenly realm. The scripture says, “God inhabits the praises of His people.” Indeed, the book of Psalms is full of encouragement to praise the Lord, to sing a new song, to bless the Lord, to make a joyful noise, to clap hands, to declare the mighty works of God, and to give thanks unto the Lord.
